Onboarding week 1 – 2

Meet your IT
Advisor

The 120 day IT Advisor onboarding experience is how we set the tone. Your IT Advisor is your onboarding sherpa, working hand-in-hand with you to ensure you have a smooth transition.

They learn your technology, identify gaps, notate risk, communicate needs, and work with your service and support pod to deliver outstanding services.

Your Advisor, with the help of staff surveys, on-site meetings, and technical assessments, develops key insights for your business that help identify differentiators, bottlenecks, growth areas, and productivity opportunities.

All this comes together in a 3 year technology roadmap that aligns with your company’s vision and growth plan.

Onboarding week 2 - 5

Your health check

Early on, your IT Advisory will guide you in a company-wide exercise developed to identify technology gaps in your business.

What kind of gaps does a health check find?

Do we have a large enough IT staff?
Can we leverage an outsourced company?
Can I support a remote IT workforce?

Can we reduce costs?
Are we prepared for future growth?
Can we track our IT department?
Is my staff happy with our IT?

Onboarding week 6

Taking action with your pod

Following the initial expectations setting and health check with your IT Advisor, we’re ready to begin service delivery. This is where your pod comes in.

Your pod is a team of experienced IT technicians who handle the deployment and support of your solutions. With the information your IT Advisor gathered, your pod gets to work supporting your new solutions to meet our rigorous standards.

Post-launch

Now that you’re fully supported by your pod, we enter the post-launch phase of our relationship. This is where the rubber meets the road as we become the support infrastructure for your team. We want to be a transformational force in your business, giving you faster issue resolutions and more reliable service that keeps your operating at peak efficiency.

Month 1 post-launch

Getting acquainted

At this point, we are launching Service Desk. That means we’re supporting your team and getting acquainted with what daily support really looks like for you. Your IT Advisor and Pod Leader will have weekly calibration called for the first month to review the previous weeks’ support data and update the issues list so you can stay on top of what’s going on. We’ll go over:

Month 2 post-launch

Tightening up

By the second month, we’ve compiled enough support data that we need to circle back and ensure your 3-year roadmap still fits. Our calibration calls move to bi-weekly events where we cover all that key data we spoke about before.

With 2 months under our belt, we present an updated 3-year roadmap that categorizes your issues by urgency. This allows us to do more than support you going forward: it gives us a clear goal and unifying purpose in everything we do.

Month 3 post-launch

Preparing for ongoing support

In the final month of your official onboarding, we want to make sure that your 3-year roadmap is agreed upon, as well as doubling back to compare your current IT experience vs your experience before Dedicated.

We do another staff survey, the result of which we compare against your initial survey from nearly 4 months earlier. This helps us identify how your operations have improved while providing insight to some of the most impacted areas of your IT.

Following this month, your IT Advisor works with your new Account Manager to hand off the ongoing management of your services.

A new era of
account management

The final phase of our process is when our ITA introduces you to the account manager which will become your new single hand to shake. You can expect them to be there to answer a majority of your questions, assist with needs, point you in the right direction, and ensure your roadmap is being executed on.

Like with the ITA, your account manager exists to complete the communication loop by setting monthly, quarterly, and annual calibration meetings.

All of the information we reference in calibration can be found in our customer portal, which you can access at any time to view live data about your IT.

This lets us speak objectively about your service, easily assigning time, dollars, and resources to our conversations. It also lets us continually improve our service, giving you more reliability and fewer interruptions to your staff.
